Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect the minimum data we need to run this store, fulfill orders, and see what people click. We never sell your data. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
What we collect
- Email address. We collect it when you subscribe to the newsletter, place an order, or contact us.
- Order details: your name, shipping address, and order items if you buy something.
- Payment information, handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Click data: which products you click, which platform sent you, time, and approximate location (city-level). Stored against an anonymous session ID, not your name.
- Cookies: a small set for cart state, session ID, dismissed popups, and analytics. See "Cookies" below.
What we use it for
- Sending you the order confirmation, shipping updates, and any newsletter you signed up for.
- Routing affiliate clicks to the right partner site and reporting back accurate analytics so Fousey can improve the store.
- Detecting bot traffic and abuse.
- Aggregate reporting (e.g. "5,000 people clicked YoungLA this month"). This is never tied to your name.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, for payment processing on owned products. Stripe has its own privacy policy.
- Resend, for transactional and newsletter email delivery.
- Supabase, for data storage. Hosted in the US.
- Vercel, for hosting and edge analytics.
- Affiliate partners (YoungLA, Amazon, etc.). When you click through, the partner sees the referral. We do not share your email or order details with them.
- Optional analytics providers (PostHog, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel). Only when configured, and only with anonymized identifiers.
We do not sell your data, ever. We do not share it with anyone other than the providers above.
Cookies
We use cookies for the things the store actually needs:
- Session ID (1 year). Anonymous identifier so we can stitch together your visit.
- Cart token. So your cart survives page refreshes.
- Source platform tag (90 days). Captured from /x, /instagram, /tiktok, /youtube, /pitch so we know which channel sent you.
- UTM parameters (30 days). Captured from campaign links.
- Announcement dismissal. So the announcement bar stays dismissed once you close it.
None of these cookies follow you around the web. We do not run third-party ad-tracking cookies. If we add an analytics provider later, this section updates first.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you what data we have about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your data entirely.
- Unsubscribe from emails (every email has a one-click unsubscribe link).

Children
This store is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We are based in the United States. By using this store you agree your data can be processed in the US. If you are in the EU/UK, you have GDPR rights and can contact us to exercise them.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we update the date at the top and announce it via the newsletter. The current version is always at fousey.shop/legal/privacy.
