Fousey's kitchen: what I actually eat
The protein, the snacks, the coffee, the cookware. Twelve years of trial and error in a single grocery list.
Fousey's kitchen: what I actually eat
I get this question more than any other.
People assume because I'm disciplined that I eat clean and bland. I do not. I eat a lot. I eat well. The trick is knowing what to keep stocked.
The protein
Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes are my breakfast 5 days a week. Whole grain, 14g protein per serving, takes 3 minutes to make. Hot cakes hit different when the macros do the work for you.
Vital Proteins collagen goes in my coffee every morning. I noticed a difference in joint recovery within 2 weeks. Worth the experiment.
The fast food I'll keep stocked
Wholly Guacamole singles: the easiest 2g of healthy fat to add to anything. Eggs, tacos, sandwich, doesn't matter. Always in the fridge.
The cookware
Calphalon Premier 13-piece set: bought it 4 years ago, still looks new. Non-stick that survives the dishwasher. Most pans don't.
The drinks
I drink water. A lot of it. The BlenderBottle Strada is in my hand half the day. Stainless steel, holds 24oz, no leak even sideways in the gym bag. Boring but bulletproof.
What's not on this list
The supplements I've tried and dropped. The 14 protein powders I've tested. The juice cleanses that did nothing. I've cut a lot to get here.
What's on this list works. Use what fits your life. Skip what doesn't.
